Even those of us seeking to develop a terrific marriage recognize that expecting sixty years of unmitigated bliss is a tall order. Even in successful marriages, there are difficult periods. Working through those periods can get the marriage back on track, but rarely overnight. And then i think it's kind of funny how you pick on elizabeth gilbert throughout the book. So i i didn't mean to on her. I agree that i think i might not have gotten the tenor exact wit. Y, good humor. The culture tells us to look excellence rather than adequacy,. for good is hell rather than good enough....
