The Problems With the PS2 Keyboard
IBM PC came out in 1981 and 82 with an 86 key keyboard. The new keyboard made different numbers for whatever reason. Software would be confused because it was expecting some number, you know, X to mean up arrow but instead it was getting some number Y. We were not supposed to be running PCs 40 years later. IBM weren't that interested in it. It was a skunk's work group that built it. Through one accident after another, here we are many years later and we've all still basically got PCs. These boards actually run a version of IBM.
