The Importance of Responding to Phone Surveys
The New York Times paid Wisconsinites $25 to respond to a mail survey. The response rate has fallen from, I don't know, back in the day, the golden age of polling. One place we did see a difference that we're still kind of exploring is it's possible that we were getting more political moderates through that incentivized responding. We are definitely not giving in to like just because we're good now means we'll be good long term.
