There's so much to be gay and from being an individual, even if it creates that dissonance. I think taking your life seriously is something that we find in all of the great spiritual thinkers throughout the ages. The job of religion understood in the way of conformity and social order is to really contain the wild problems and domesticate them and make them tame again. It seems like the discovery that life is a wild problem is synonymous with the spiritual quest.
