Elle musk has made it clear that he is not interested in twitter as a business. He wants to preserve and improve it as a forum where people can trade ideas freely. His view is that speech is being more tightly policed than it was a few years ago. And so his idea is simply to make things freer, let all of those things bloom - the misinformation and the insict menson would have you up to a point.
