He traces this shift in how we consume music to when these platforms stop advertising themselves as basically like limitless libraries, right? Anything you want at your fingers is. And he calls this drive Nextness, which I think is really interesting. But the algorithms like purpose then is to serve us the next thing based on whatever information that it's previously collected about us.
