Is There a Memoir of Peter Sheldon?
Jerry Saltz: I was astonished when I would think I was ahead of Peter on a fast take on a new young artist that he say, never heard of let's just say. The minute it surfaced in a bigger show, he blew me away with how fast he could sort of size up the work. He bragged about his children a lot. He talked about fireworks. And these phone calls are ready every day for my lifetime. They're not going to read any one else anymore because no one else reads them. So be it. Critics are not famous long-term and we're very here and very gone.
