The Importance of Self Worth in Bikini Competition
Being more muscular is becoming more and more popularized in our society. How much of that do you think is somewhat related to the inability of bikini competitors to separate their self worth, their attractiveness or their sense of personal beauty from their physique as a competitor? For me, pursuing bodybuilding was counterculture rather than enhancing a current pressure or look. But I wonder is it just inherently easier for me to go like me looking awesome on stage has very little to do with me feeling attractive or me having self worth.
