The U.S. can't do war crimes enough, so it comes up with o solutions to them. One of them is essentially t they rebuild the whole japanese economy in order to use japan's industrial base to fight the war in korea. And this works, but it doesn't solve the problem that you still need to be able to efficiently move things by sea to corea. This is the pivot point upon which the entire history of the twentieth century, and everything that's happened 20 first century, hinges on like this. Ad. Te tuna a lot easier when they can commit war crimes.
