The Disadvantages of Chick-Fil-A

Abraham Galloway was born and slave in a tiny fishing town near Wilmington, North Carolina. He decides to get the fuck out because he was nervous that he was going to get sold further south. His friend Richard Eden is a barber who had just gotten busted for daring to marry a free mixed race woman. They eventually they do find a pilot who will sneak them onto the boat and off they go. The Fugitive Slave Law of 1850 means that even the free states could just show up for work.
