"We had her for, I guess, four and a half hours on camera," he said. "It's just you really have to kind of figure out all the jigsaw pieces." The film was shot in black-and-white with no makeup or prosthetic make-up. A double played Catherine Klinch at one point but she ended up doing it herself.
