Introduction

The weirdest thing i learned this week from the editors of popular science. The fall issue comes out next week, and it's a really, really fun one. We start by each offering up a little tease about some kind of fact or story that we found in the course of reading, writing, reporting, creating a magazine. Then once we've all had time to spin our little science yarns, we reconvene and decide what the weirdest thing we learn this week actually is.
