Lawfare was being cited in political discussions, not purely national security discussions. We tried very hard to maintain our commitment to balance on the other side. I wrote quite a few pieces that, in various ways, defended some things the trump administration was doing and was pretty roundly criticised. But i thought it was important that the sight, and ben did too, that the sight still reflect all perspectives.
