The Importance of Comp Season in HR

I think if you look at the OS of HR, it is designed for a more compliance oriented function. Almost everywhere that I've ever been in HR, they actually do do this sometimes. But they don't do it perpetually. So like when I worked in HR, basically from Thanksgiving until the end of February, every year was comp season. It just sort of goes away because it's comp time.
