The First Meeting of the Council Club
The first Sunday in September 1994 was the date decided upon. For their first official meeting of the club they sent out invitations by post to people who'd already contacted them. Over the next year and a half the council club's membership grew to around 20 people. The members place was like about 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station. So we had to kind of be very careful as we just kind of you know nudged everyone that please be decent when you come there.
