I think one of the cruelest things we do to ourselves is try to convince ourselves that love is always going to feel fun. And so when I think about the concept of love, I don't want to reduce it. But letting love truly be as big as it is means that there's it contains a lot of other feelings within it. So real love or real connection includes disappointment, frustration, anger, resentment, obligation, hardship and conflict. A life is so big, it has to encompass all those things being human.
