Cantonese People Are Genetically Different Than Northern Chinese

The geographic depth in China is actually really, really old, older than in the other part of temperate Eurasia and I think it's due to ecology. And so even though South Chinese are genetically different they're just classified as Chinese as well, just like northern people. Aside from the Haka and maybe the way who are like Chinese speaking Muslims, most Chinese genetic variation is explained through geography. But you also have to acknowledge there's a lot of variation in there, and that variation is geographically structured.
