As machmoud studied chemistry, he became fascinated with the art and science of bread making. He told his mam he'd be done with school after completing his degree. Marmoud started working while finishing his degree - but worked seven days a week. The pair opened a new bakery near chatelet in the centre of paris. They bought a second bakery together on boulevard raspill near montparnas.
