The Evolution of Dexterity

Geologist Roger Billham says Nepal has a history of earthquakes. He estimates that there's about five times as much energy in those rocks as was released at the weekend. Bhutan hasn't had an earthquake in its recent history, but we found to our surprise that the convergence rate and strain development is more or less the same than it is in Nepal. And so our understanding of these historical earthquakes simply tells us that they will recur.
