What Happened to the Calves Trade?

Back in my day, there was a very good trade for veal. A lot of the calves were exported out of Britain and that put the price up. So you might be getting £350 for a Belgian blue bull calf. The freezing bull ones were all so soft for veal, but they wouldn't make us much. They'd be down at like £80, £90, but if you had a good Belgian blue or a good limousine, they were making up to £350.
