What Is a Network Gateway?
A network gateway is a way for connecting multiple networks together the right way. The wrong way could be like all machines, they have private IP addresses,. And those IP addresses are normally unique but they can overlap. In public cloud, this is typically called internet gateway. That allows your servers with private IP addresses to access resources that are on public internet.
