The Importance of a Normalized Exit Multiple
founders have reasonable expectations even during the run-up of 2020 and 2021 that allows everybody to be still in a safe place as everything has come back down to reality we were market driven. I think founder expectations did go up between 19 and 21 and that makes sense so practical valuations long-term valuations are the right ones. We typically invest in a four to eight times multiple range on the way inYeah depending on how high the retention is how high the growth rate is the man to quality the management team etc you know we think the five to ten x exit range is the right one.
