What Happened to the Picts?

The picts were absorbed into the kingdom of kinned mc alpin. Pictish aristocracy ruled over classes of agricultural peasants and slaves. Around 200 incised stone slabs that date between the fourth and seventh centuries have been found in an area undoubtedly pictish. The later stones definitely relate to the christian culture of the picts.
