Earth's Magnetic Field - Is That Possible?
It would take a long time for earth's magnetic field to shut down, and there would be a lot of changes and signs that it would be happening. There has been some really interesting research lately about creating an magnetic field - potentially for mars or interplanetary spacecraft. I think we will explore interstellar like, we will have interstellar exploration. But it's hard for me to imagine getting humans to another star.
