The German Federal Police Have Now Opened Up the E-Gates to Permanent Residents

The Bundesliga or the German Federal Police have now opened up the e-gates at eight international airports to permanent residents who are resident in the country. To be able to use it now, you have to be already you could use it if you were EU, European economic area or Swiss citizen that was at least 12 years old. Also passengers who have a category D long stay visa can use the system, but they can only use it if they pre-register with immigration authorities and when leaving Germany.
