What's Happening in Ukraine?
Journalists wish they weren't covering a story like this, ry that we still find unimaginable in so many ways. All war seems to start with pledges that civilians will not be attacked and all seem to evolve all too soon into scenes of immense human suffering. There are some parallels between happening in eukraine and the civil war in syria. But this is a war affecting eucranians. And it seems, for now at least, to be a very dark and darkening future. Ithin weeno? We have to be very careful. Different countries have different histories, different politics, different dual politics, different times.
