How to Onboard a New Product
There's really no substitute for doing it yourself. The next time you're going to try a new app or a new service just write down your observations on their onboarding flow. What are they doing well where you confused what would you do differently. It can be kind of self serving to audit yourself. People measure a lot of things about themselves. So why not your past decisions? One other thing I want to leave you with is the importance of always considering another option.
