Danielle: A good time to engage their manager is if you are behind on deadlines because they're not getting stuff back to you or even if you feel you will be behind. I would say if you've called them or messaged them multiple ways and multiple times and they're still not getting back to you, that's the time to contact the manager. And again, like it doesn't have to be like, this SME is not helping me at all. You know, like you want to probably be diplomatic, but just be like, hey, I kind of get the feeling they're busy. Can you nudge them for me?
