The Importance of Peer Mentorship in Scientific Career
I'm surrounded by really these great scientists here at the Danforth Center who are inclusive and willing to give their expertise. There's a lot of peer to peer mentoring here at theDanforth Center. And I had my first real experience doing a research in the lab with Gary Talman, who was about to retire. He's an amazing mentor because he basically trusted a sophomore in college to do research in thelab pretty independently.
