The Button of Knowledge Is Being Exaggerated

I definitely feel like the button of knowledge is being a little bit exaggerated. You can use abstractions and the high level theories we create on top of the lower level ones in order to innovate without having to know everything right down to the bottom. David Deutsch also has this point in the fabric of reality where it's quite amusing where he says that you can achieve understanding without knowing you understand something. The number theory, like the modern numbers are much more of a deeper and more general theory than Roman numerals.
