Show Don't Tell in a Novel
For the most part, we are tellers. Andav we tell a lot way. Telling and showing don't have as much meaning in silent film because they're non visual medium. So i like to talk about instead, describing and demonstrating. There's a big balance between them that you need to do both of them. But using how to use those two tools is really valuable. For me, it's e it's about immediacy versus a distance from the character.
