Is There a Way to Preserve the Reefs?
Many people who have a subsistence level of existence depend very strongly on fishing or othera aspects of natural resources that the reefs provide. You are not advocating that, while we have to protect the reefs, and the devil take these particular individuals, too bad for them. We can safely be the stewards of a longer term future. Over fishing is even if you forget about reefs entirely. The economic pressures on the reef are very high, and the need for food is very, very high. It's not so much economics as just the need forFood.
