A year ago is january 20 20. A lot of epidemologists were following this strange new pneumonia in china. And they did what they do when there's an emerging epidemic, they make their own home made spread sheets. One of the spread sheets was on google spread sheets, so it was kind of open for people in the community. So this sort of grew and grew. Lots of people started contributing to the data base. To day, it comes out with some support from gogle and from the rockefeller foundation, that will make it be like in the cloud and also accessible to anyone.
