There are lots of ways to clean repositories up. Some people advocate for writing history and saying, e let's go and do a filter repo. Or you can have even re base and forward, pass forward. Do you see any anti patterns that end up being really damaging in the long run? What should people be avoiding? We find that these linear histories are more difficult to scale at this range.
