The ICF code of ethics really clearly specifies the need for intersectional awareness. Number four, things never to do as a coach is making assumptions about who your client is what they want or their lives are like based on your own experience. And it takes an entire lifetime of building and gaining awareness,. becoming aware of bias, checking your own ego, centering the client asking questions and figuring out where we might make assumptions.
