Jason Johnson: It's incredibly hard to do these things at particularly large public companies, because the amount of backlash that comes instantly. If they were in an incredibly good spot from a business perspective, it would be almost impossible to know. Until you're challenged really on the goose that lays the golden eggs, it's very, very hard to do so. The easiest and best way to avoid all sorts of traps is to just take care of your area above and all else, above all else, focus on getting all the stuff done.
