Family therapy finds its practitioners just because of that systemic orientation that unites us all. Once you're systemic, it's very hard to go back and see things from an individualistic point of view, absent of context. Sal would come in gangbusters and have this way that he would absolutely say this is how to see things. And then in time he would change. The thing that we heard during the pandemic is pivot or perish.
