Space Junk

European Space Agency to launch mission in 2025. Will be the first to capture and dispose of a piece of orbiting space junk. 5,500 launches over 60 years have left 23,000 objects larger than a grapefruit in orbit. There are many millions of smaller objects that can't be tracked.
