The Horses in Zachariah's Vision
Horses in revelation seem to represent conquest, sword, famine and death or pestilence. Zachariah askd the interpreting angel about the meaning of the horses. He is told that the horses are going out to the four winds of heaven. The chariots that go forth go in the direction of the north and the south. Jordan suggests that the dappled horses might make us think of leprosy.
