An overarching principle for improving our sleep quality at night is to optimize our sleep environment itself, the environment that we're sleeping. There's a strong neuro association to where we lay our heads down, right to being in a bed. Get yourself some black out curtains, get the room as dark as you can. A study found that couples who had a television in their bedroom had upwards of 50 % less sex.
