How Do You Plan Your Painting?
In your work you've got a hierarchy of values and the sooner you get familiar with that hierarchy of values, the better. In these preliminary studies, we're equating ourselves with like the governing laws of the universe of this subject. And those governing laws are what's the lightest thing I can see. Those are the parameters. Everything else has to fall in the middle and every subject is going to be different. So yeah, so really the place where you've got the wiggle room is the middle values in between that darkest dark and lightest light which are sort of a no brainer they basically are there and you just find them.
