The Importance of Streamers

The complexities and the abundant options are what draw most of us to fly fishing in the first place. Good nymphing is a harder skill to learn than good dry fly fishing, but I only think that matters because an angler with excellent nympher skills can go to any trout water at any time of year and expect some success. The more you know, the more you realize how much you do not know. What's harder? It doesn't matter. As long as you have a curious mind and an openness to improving, fly fishing will keep you busy and enthusiastic for a long, long way.
