The Ontology of AM

I think that the way in which AM is constructed in a non sort of technical way without technical language is fundamental. And it's part of the reason why I think Ellison made the machine's name in such a way that it helps us understand cybernetic modernity as a particular ontology. It says, yeah, at first it meant allied mass computer,. Then it meant adaptive manipulator. Later on, it developed sentience and leaked itself up and they called it an aggressive menace. But by then it was too late and finally it called itself and emerging intelligence. What it meant was I am. Coghito ergo saw. I think therefore I am.
