The Bank of England's Inflation Strategy
The Bank of England is trying to deal with inflation by putting up interest rates. But this isn't necessarily being reflected in what banks are offering to consumers. There will not be, I'm confident, saying a high street bank will say we're going to add more to you. And it's still possible to get an absolutely terrible savings rate from your bank if you have savings.
