Alabama Republicans Are Taking Their Chances in Court

The Alabama Republicans are not even pushing for their narrow definition of black anymore. The plan didn't make it through the lower courts. It also made me wonder how much the Republican lawmakers were willing to just take their chances in court. If the justices buy that claim, they may be open to ruling no one's race should be considered when voting maps are rejawed.
