Trying to sort through culture and religious ideas about gender rolls can be challenging at times. But i think religious statements that saying things like the role of the women is to care and nurture for the children, and the roll the man is to provide, where it can be complicated because it fells like this is ordained by god, and therefore it's the higher way to govern your life.
