The Rise and Fall of the Kurdish Militia in Syria

Shrins: The SDF is a mix of militias that are descended from the PKK, but are now much broader than just sort of a Kurdish liberatory organization. They include Turkmen, Armenians, all kinds of different ethnic groups. These are the folks who fought and defeated ISIS in Northeast Syria. Shrins: I also want to mention they were the only people fighting ISIS in Syria. That's pretty notable to mention.
