The Parallels Between Biology and Investing
There's a lot of parallels, I think, on capitalism, maybe, as a broad market force in the free market versus kind of how things work in the natural world. And that plays out in all sorts of different ways through investing in broad markets and individual securities. If you look back in the ranks of companies in history, it's pretty hard to simply survive in markets. The biggest compliment we get people in the investing world is not returns or anything else. It's simply like, did they survive?
