The Passover Feast: A Reflection on the Exodus

In Numbers 9, the Israelites are told that they must eat Passover before going on their journey. This is because some of them were unclean through touching a dead body and could not keep the feast. The Lord has ordained this as a way for people to rehearse the events of the Exodus according to Leviticus. They can then apply what they have learned about how to deal with nations more powerful than themselves.
