Professor Weitzman committed suicide in part because the Nobel Prize in 2018 in economics went to two other scientists including Paul Romer and William Nordhaus. He had done work that had you know really in his mind perhaps depended on his work again we'll never know what drives a human being to take his or her own life but it's an infinite tragedy when this happens. I hope people will see the Nobel Prizes for what they are they're an earthly award given by our human beings who are fallible and shouldn't be worshipped like an idol, he says.
